Assignment 1 – Alex

I used move LDOs to turn the light on and off as it was moving to a new position, but it didn’t quite work. The robot was moving too fast and the light appears to have stayed on the entire time. Using SetDO and Wait could have solved this problem. Also, one of my points got moved out in the x axis and I didn’t realize because I was drawing in an orthographic view. I corrected one of the pictures in photoshop.

Course Description

Future CNC explores the future of computer numeric controlled (CNC) manufacturing technologies as they proliferate into domestic, commercial, and creative settings. As the cost of CNC machinery rapidly decreases, powerful, precise, and efficient new tools will become available to a much wider audience. Students are invited to speculate and create a vision for how CNC and robotic fabrication techniques will be put to use in the future.
